San Francisco Halo 2 Help Needed

topic posted Wed, November 24, 2004 - 3:32 PM by  Samson
Hi everyone,

Here's my proshizzle:

My best friend sent me his extra copy of Halo 2. Its still shrink wrapped and in the box.

My brother is sending me his ununused Xbox, but he's a slacker like me, so that might take a week or so.

My roommates are all going to be out of town over this holiday weekend.

I don't have to work until next monday.

I have a 55" HDTV, Halo 2, and NO Xbox.

I haven't been able to find anywhere that rents consoles near where I live (Lower Pac Heights, corner Pine/Buchanan).

Outside of buying an XBox and then returning a week later,

CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT?

I'm itching to play.

Thanks in advance, Happy Holidays.

Hrmmm. I spent 26 years in Alameda and worked out in San Francisco for a few years. Its been a while since I lived out there but I seem to remember some places that would rent a Xbox. Now I am not familiar with the city as much as I use to be. I dont know if you tried this, but the places near you ask if they know of a place that rents them. I would think Blockbuster would have them. The bay area is so advanced compared to most parts of the country, I wouldnt imagine it be so hard to find one. Then again I have never tried. I wish you luck, Halo2 would kick even more ass on your TV.
