Pay for the damn thing NOW so they hold it at the counter for you! You'll be out in half an hour. Otherwise, you'll be in that line for hours until they sell out.

So did you make it to the store? I preordered mine at EBGames in Los Angeles, and I was glad I did. The first 100 people in line (which thankfully I was part of) got a gift bag which included the following: sealed retail versions of Fable, Project Gotham Racing 2, Counterstrike, and Crimson Skies, the Plantronics Halo 2 headset, a free year of xbox live with a headset bag/case, a free year of XBN magazine, the first Halo book, a Halo 2 soundtrack, a Halo 2 knit polo shirt, and a bunch of other junk like a frisbess, rubber ball, water bottle, etc etc. I mean, they are giving away stuff that is worth more than the game I bought...not sure why they did it. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to get the free junk, but it wasn't advertised as a giveaway event or anything, so I was just wondering if other stores did it too.

They also ordered a crudload of pizza and sodas for everyone, they had annoying women giving out shots of Mountain Dew, a guy dressed like the MC, and an annoying as hell DJ throwing out shirts and Halo 2 drinking bottles. What a tool.
