Hi,
I had an idea to build an airsoft version of the MA5B Assault Rifle. I have a great rifle candidate, the FAMAS. I have schematics for a countdown shot counter too. Yesterday I was studying screenshots when I realized something -
Where the f*** does the magazine go? I've looked at dozens of pictures, and I can not find a magazine well anywhere...
Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Building a MA5B replica

The Magazine goes just like your FAMAS with the Bull-pup feature. All you need to do is heighten the stock to cover more of the magazine and to reach all the way to the pistol Grip. ( Don't forget your thumbholes :D lol). If you look at the Halo user's manual, you will see a ridged section on the slant of the stock, (behind the grip). Basically, your FAMAS is a great skeleton of the MA5B. Happy modding!
(P.S.: I realize that your post is rather old, so if you have your replica all figured out and built, please send me some pics!!!!!!!) Thanks
